Damnit Did it Again...

So I blew another motor last monday... I was hopin it would make it till i finished the one at work... But it didn't make it...
I was on the interstate on my way home from work... Downshifted to pass someone... Missed... Started knockin... Changed oil.. Didn't help... got worse tuesday mornin... So I towed it home and quit drivin...
here's what it sounded like before I pulled it out...

Sounded like I threw another rod bearing and possibly bent some valves from continued running...

I got more frame bending to do... Which isn't a big deal... And theres no better time to do it then now...
The head light damage is from when some asshole backed into me at a stop sign...

The subframe damage was cause by me hitting a mountain 3 yrs ago... so I'm gonna take care of that now...

This one i'm sure is cause I pinged redline really hard... The one before I believe was from lack of oil... And plus.. I drive really REALLY hard... I know the car very well... I've owned this car the longest outta every other vehicle I"ve had...I know it's limits and I push it to them damn near every time I'm behind the wheel... A 15yr old engine can't take the beating I can give it...
If I blow this one I"m about to put in.. Then I'll wonder whats up... But the new is gonna be a complete refurb... Basically brand new.. So if I don't fuck it up puttin it together... Then I should have no issues

sucks u keep blowing motors, but i imagine ur having a blast doing it heeh

i don't know how you find the time just replace motors seemingly every few months, but it sounds like fun. how long does it usually take you to do something like that?

I had the motor out in less than 4 hours... It's acctually quite easy... I don't have to worry about stuck bolts cause I take'em out so much...

The last engine was a used not refurb... The next ones will all be built...

I plan on havin my N/A done by christmas

damn thats a scary sound man. mine's making a sound, i thought it was the rod bearings or something. but i think its just something loose, like the a/c compressor thats not connected. its bloted on though, i've been meaning to take it out.

my whole car is just squeaky. I dont think its my engine, my engine sounds like a beast (a stock beast..), but everything else just squeeeks, damn annoying, i say.:ugh:

fear the 3g squeak!!! mine does it too. i think i need a new timing belt though since it's kind of a worbling sound if any of you know what i'm talking about. could just be from the tires though also... but seriously i have yet to be in a 3g that doesn't make some kind of noise. how many miles were on that engine when you blew it?

i have a fair amount of noise comming from my bottom end, i wonder if one (or more) of my bearings is going... that would suck

My engine makes noise like it did when it was new....

i have 1 or 2 rattles.... but not really any sqeaks... i've been pretty impressed at how it holds together even when i'm pushing 500w of power through my subs.

Damn.... how do you blow so many motors? I beat the shit out of my car 98% of the time, even when it's cold. I redline it all the time and the engine runs like a dream!

Where do the sqeaks come from though? I have some creaking when i turn corners sharp and when i go off of a curb.... suspension maybe?

i'm almost positive its my suspension. Also the way things fit together in the interior (the dash) makes room for plenty of weird noises. I just got my car recently, and i took the stereo and speakers out to replace them. So now i drive around in silence (drives me crazy) listening to my car noises all day (and not to forget all the other people around me 's music)
