driver side headlight wasn't working for the last couple days so i bought a new halogen and replaced it. nothing. read up on how the wiring at the clips can get brittle and break. it did, so i spliced them back together with some electrical tape and still nothing. is there another problem spot in the wiring? how much am i looking at for new wiring?

also my highbeams keep blowing fuses, currently not working. could this be related? maybe a short in the wiring?

i'm starting to hate these flip up lights. they look cool but they're a pain in the ass.

splicing isnt a very good idea, for you should repace the whole wiring for that head light, highbeams may keep blowing fuses because somthing is getting shorted out

i had the same problem! something with the wiring. it burnt up!!
all fucked up now and fused together melted.
im going to have to rig a switch for the headlight now. it happened out of the blue, started with a blown fuse!! thought it was the actual headlight but it wasnt.............
