my check engine light is on and im gettin the IAT sensor code. can anybody tell me where it is located???? how much do these usually cost?

Its the little "plug" on the intake tube, all it does is sense how cold/hot the temp is, its a simple little thing shouldnt cost much. Has 2 wires going to it, probably 1 dollar at a junker.

i tried lookin for it today at lunch and could not find it... where on the tube is it at???? there wasnt any plug or anything like that.

Is this thing on the throttle body or something cause i have a cai and it doesnt flag any codes??:dunno:

it is on the intake manifold, on the driver's side end kind of down a little. it's small and attaches to the manifold with two screws. it has a white harness plugged into it.
