sory guys for this thread, i have no time to use search at this moment. i found one guy who is selling the 2g lude (1986) or b20a1 engine. i know it should fit in our cars. i have a20a4, and i was thinking about 16v dohc very long time ago. so could you tell me what i need to put this engine in my accord?? do i need ecu too from that lude? what about manifolds (exhaut, intake)? whats more? what about gearbox/axlesare they the same? now i have a2k5, will it fit on b20a1?

thanks for answers, i hope you will understand my poor english :)

yeah, you'll need the transmission, axles, probably need to fab a rear tranny mount, and the ecu. i hear the intake mani is the same, but the exhaust also has to be from the b20. but it should bolt up. so basically, you need the whole engine, tranny, axles, and at least the exhaust manifold. you can run the a20 ecu, but you won't have the full potential of the engine. i'm not sure about the a2k5, though.

:( it looks it will take a lot of time to do it properly. maybe can i buy a head with ecu from that guy? somebary have written that it fit on a20 :dunno:

That would be the B21A1 head, not the Prelude B20. The B20 has a smaller bore than the A20.

are you sure about that? i thought b20 heads fit on a20

Well, according to the honda shop manual, the B20 has a bore of 81mm, A20 82.7mm, and B21 83mm. The B21 is the closest fit, and has been used by one person before. I do not know if everything else would line up or work with the B20 head, no one has tried it.
