graphics on the hood scoop

ok I got the hood scoop painted,I am doing the old english lettering on the scoop that says Tim and Cathyhere are some pics,I will post a finished painted pic as soon as I can. these are not decals these are laid out and cut from masking tape with an exacto knife.

wow dead on here tonight,just finished the clear coat and am going to bed.

yeah its been dead for the past week i think. anyway. it looks pretty cool, but if you accept critisism(sp?) i think it would have looked better in a stright line either in the middle of the the scoop or on the top. meh its just my opinion though.

Question: Why old english? I just never understood that. Seems that 'modern' cars with EFI and turbos and wanting to be high speed and streamlined and aggressive and not 'antiquated dinosaurs' like most import owners refer to musclecars;.... why do people use such an old font? I'm curious...

old english is not even comparable to the english we read

I'm curious...it's just a traditional font for lettering on custom cars, my accord is old so it will suit it just fine. it says Tim and Cathy by the way,when the hood is painted it will look better.

as far as a timeline after quarter break,we will be back in school in january,then i'm going to start primering,after that as soon as i can afford the paint i'll get busy painting it.
