Finally ordered some ss lines and will be putting them on w/ the new rotors. Had some terrible brake fade (overheating) while doing some serious canyon driving on switchbacks a while back and always wondered if these will help. Guess I'll find out soon enough.
Slotted Brembos, $144. from www.tirerack.com .... Goodridge SS lines,$100. from HRPWorld.com http://www.hrpworld.com/index.cfm?form_prod_id=342,313,49,363_1808&action=product .... AEM brake pads, $55 (?) from .... I forgot where ....

Hrm, I can't really see the brakelines doing much at all on this car, but the rest of the hardware looks like a nice upgrade. At the very least you won't have to worry about your factory lines rotting out.

hey, same rotors and pads as me! i'm pretty sure you'll like that setup. the aem pads are made by nissin and i like them a lot.

looks like some high quality parts there. i can see those braided lines helping out on soft pedal when they get hot. that was surely the case for most people that do autocross that i know. the rubber ones start expanding after a while sometimes.

Maybe if they're old. Anyway, for a cheap solution you can zip tie the crap out of your brake lines. :) Keeps them from expanding.

you could do that, but as soon as those break apart, the brake pedal i'm sure will head to the floor rather quickly.... maybe not all the way... but you'll feel it flex.

Wouldn't zip ties limit the brake line flexiblity? also I'd think they would cut into the rubber a bit...

Those just lines for the front?
how bout the rears?
N are the lines different from disc compared to drum?

The set comes w/ 4 lines total (for all wheels) for $100, for front disk, rear drum. If you have disks in the rear you'll need to order the SE-i setup (6 lines total), which I believe this store also has. Customer service was great, BTW.

its odd how there are 6 lines for the sei but it's true. The drum ones work but you need that extra 2 lines to hook up to the hardline of the sei trailing arm. odd but yea..thats what you need..

Good selection of parts =)
