Lately I have been noticing a gas leak back by the filler neck so I checked it out and found that the previous owner had used tape to plug an apparent leak in the neck (not the first ghetto fix I have had to correct on the Hondamino). :sad2: $100 bought me a new neck assembly and gasket and I installed it today... the old one pretty much fell apart in my hands during removal. Hopefully I will be getting better gas mileage now that I'm not dumping raw fuel out on the ground. Anyone else had the peasure of replacing this part on their Accord?

Just incase anyone sees this post ever again, you can get a new neck for free from a honda dealer, we had a TSB for the upper states, seat belts too.

i had to replace mine.
mine was very badly rusted.
where fuel filler pipe bolts to the body was rusted all the way around.
so when i was at junkyard i found honda repair part. it is stamped metal part that fits inside (behind fuel filler door), and you bolt the fuel filler neck to it.
I didn't even know honda made repair parts like that.
