I was lookin at the H22A OBD1,for $ 2499.99 , and was wondering how compatible of an engine and tranny is this for a 3gee?

any advice will be apreciated

not very........custom mounts, custom tranny, custom custom custom.. it will work, but u better have pockets as deep as hell

the whole thing would be custom... custom mounts, custom axles, custom everything, i think only 2 or 3 people have tried the swap and gave up on it i think :dunno:

there are actually 2 confirmed swaps, and johnny o was attempting it i believe. i think that he could pull it off if he wanted to

Holy crap thats alot there... you sure i would need a custom tranny? The H22A for sale I was lookin at comes with its own complete 5 speed tranny, or you mean I would need to do custom work on the car to make that tranny fit?

If I were to attempt this I would pay a shop to do it, cuz there is no way I could do this swap reading a step by step book or sumthin like that.

i think youd be better off with a b18 swap and it would be a lot easier, still everythink would have to be custom though, unless you find someone thats selling a pri kit and use that

the engine and tranny wouldn't have to be custom. but the mounts would, as would the axles, shift linkage, etc. and as you can see from the pictures, it's not a direct bolt-in in the least bit. i suggest you read the link i'm posting and use the search function.

according to adam, it wasn't running when he saw it, but they said it did run for a little while. and they quoted a price of six geez to put a beast like that in.
