Finally it has to happen to me

Yup, for two years i have had this car without major damage and today, my boss with his X5 while backing out, backs into my car. My initial response was just laughter. I started cracking up. My boss felt sooo bad and was pretty much hating himself. but either way, it sucks that it has to happen the day before i get my rims and tires and worse it has to happen the two days before i have to go to VA. but once i get back on tuesday, my car will be going into the bodyshop to get it fixed. It just needs the dent tapped out, new (used) pass side rear tail light and line up the trunk. its also gonna get a whole new paint and its gonna be painted dark grey. It sucks and kinda worked out in its own way cause my two year old paint was already chipping out, and this would be the best time to get a new paint, and hopefully the snow wont fuck it up too much. maybe ill get a cheap car cover and probably cover up my car everytime it snows, until the paint it okay to be exposed to the damn salt and snow. the following are the pictures of the so called 'accident' but all i could say now is 'damn that sucks' :( :( :(

Just fix that, it aint bad. I almost had some idiot in a jeep back right into my driver door yesterday. I was actually pretty pissed that the moron had gotten about 8" away from hitting me, i hit the horn and he stopped. I should have just let him hit me.

The car's original color was blue. Chris (Old 3geez memeber) painted the car ghetto blue and when i bought the body from him, i had it painted stupid white. the reddish color is the gay primer that the shop applied that did not stick very well. the paintjob was only a 600 bux paint job. but the one im gonna get once the car is fixed, is gonna be a better one and the company is gonna pay for the damage and paint, so hopefully it will turn out good.

i went to the body shop near my work that is reputable for handsome work. Their preliminary estimate was 980 to fix the damage and then 1600 bux on top of that if i wanted to get the whole car painted. i told my boss (who hit my car) and he said so what, lets do it. So next week, the car is going into the body shop. ;)

dude, that looks amazing, good job on the color picking....lol but what color is it. mine is getting painted next week and well i was thinking of painting it the same charcoal grey that the new 05-06 camry's come in. that almost looks like it or i might just be color/contrast blind lol.

Thank you fellas, i wll make a thread later on once i am done washing the car (again) and waxing it. I still gotta clean my interior of paint dust, organize my trunk and vaccuum the trunk and clean and repaint my engine bay parts. Hopefully in the next two weeks, it will be all set.

the other thing that this car needs immediately is some upper control arms and the camber kit. Screw the prelude arms that i got, shit is squeaking and its annoying the crap outta me. I gotta change the alternator belt since its been two years already. hopefully i could get all this done next week.

That paint job looks nice Praveen. Good thing it didn't get totalled like most.
Well, sure you can sell them prelude arms. My suspension squeeks a little too. I'm pretty sure it is the lower control arm bushings making mine squeek.

Anyhow, I been thinking you got a good insurance deal & bought wheels w/ new paint job for your ride. LOL.

Edit- That strut bar should look nice too. Purdy red, I like.

Well the rims and tires were ordered before the accident. I put them on the day after i got hit since i had to drive to NC and VA. im selling my lude arms if someone wants to get it, cause they can fix it, hell it even has poly-urathane bushings on it.

My boss who hit me paid for the repair and the whole paint job. cost $2750 in total and he still gotta pay my rental which is $450 for the week (drove an 05 malibu.... that pos). I still gotta replace my inner plastic liner that is broken because of the accident whcih the shop did not fix. i have to replace my pass side wheel splash guard since my tire chewed up my old one when the damn screw just fell off on the freeway.

I am changing my alternator belt to another on a 5PK0940 one and see if its the right length that i am looking for and clean up the engine bay a lil bit. Ill make a new thread about the car and some cleaner shots of it next week.

Paint: Its a dark metallic gunmetal from a 05 Benz.
