hey wats i just got into the whole racing scene so i got a lil crx my dad got me a b18c1 with 32,000 miles on i have hasport motor mounts act streetlight flywheel,clutch master stage 3 apex computer to control vtech,fuel and air ratio a hondata ecu chiped with a neptune chip for stock gsr but he wants me and mt friends to install but i have no idia how please help with pics or diagrams or layouts

I'm not trying to crap on your project either but you really did come to the wrong place looking for advice. There are plenty of resources for CRX and B-series swaps and info. There are all those mags and tons of forums devoted strictly to CRX action. Personally I like the CRX but I'm glad I don't have one because they're much too common. I have a second Gen Accord HB which looks more like a 1st Gen CRX anyway, just a tad heavier and a longer wheelbase, either way there's no Aftermarket support and I guess that's part of the reason we love these cars so much. DIY man DIY. One day I'll snag a 1st Gen CRX for a daily driver and that's my secret CRX shame...:lol:

you have to realize that this site is over five years old. so even if it were devoted strictly the crx, chances are you're extremely far behind in the swap originality category trying to swap in a b18c1. so even if this was a crx board, you should've searched. and i suggest you do that over at c4g before you post anything if you plan to get much information. also try www.automotiveforums.com, they also have a 4g civic-specific forum.

I say, if you're going to write something on a public forum, show the people who are going to read it the Respect of writing it like you put some semblance of effort into it. Other than the subject of the post itself, that means basically just write like a fucking adult. How much do you think I can tell about you by the way you write? If you write like you can't even pass a high school english class, how the fuck are you going to have read anything about automotive technology? I can tell from your posts that you entirely lack any level of understanding on that subject, yet you freely talk shit.

The b series swap into a crx can be done in a solid day's work, if you have all the parts. I've helped a couple friends do this, and we didn't have a mount kit either time. The wiring will be a subharness to the ecu obd conversion jumper if it isn't multiport, or you can just add the necessary wires however you want. I'm sure you can find a wiring diagram somewhere. The b series shift linkage will have to be shortened. The driver's side of the engine bay where the alternator pulley hits will have to be hammered in a little. And, with the vtec b18/20, the valve cover will probably hit the hood, requiring it to be trimmed slightly.
My friends ls vtec crx with basic i/h/e mods and higher compression pistons ran 13.8-13.9 shifting a little over 8k with drag radials and the extremely short geared b16 tranny.

That was enough to beat most of the other hondas at the track though. (Sac raceway) Most of the hondas there don't run better than a maybe 14.5, if they're even in the 14s. I've seen numerous s2000's run 15s or high 14s..I don't get it, I guess hondas are just slow..
