this has realy got me stumped

i have been searching everywhere and i cannot find any info on this little black box thing

the circle in the middle is what i want to know what it is, the circle underneath it is a i think the idle advance or sumthing and the circle to the left is some vacume thing, both of these things haves tubes going onto the lil box, and the box just plugs strate into the aibox AFTER the filter, so my guess is it is some kind of air sensor and yes my car is rite hand drive

If you are removing it with the air filter box to install a cold air intake, run a vacuum line to the intake manifold from the IAC Valve.

oh k thanx alot, but how about the other line, it goes into a valve thing (that brass disc thing) and then that also goes into the intake, should i just ripp that out?
or go a t piece and connect them both to the intake mani
