View Full Version : what size speakers go in an 87 accord sedan?

does the model matter? cause im not sure which one I have(do have sun-roof, power windows and locks, automatic). i need all new speakers in the front and rear. but i dont know what size speakers im supposed to buy.

it shouldn't, they should be 4 6.5"

i'd go for some 2 or 3 way's just to get better highs

man if you can get alpine like i have and you should be happy. they are not too expensive and they sound great. sometimes i think they have too much high.
but yeah 6.5" all the way around.

shit i forgot to tell u wht to do. go into car audio and vid. and then it'll automatically ask u wht car u have, and then tell u wht the dimensions of the front and rear spkrs are.

it's 6.5 all around... it may say smaller, but they have an adapter ring to fill in the extra space

go get soem 2 way Fusion speakers..they sound awesome and are liek really priced nicely...you should get them for under $100..since they are 118+tax cdn here....
the 2 ways sound ust as good as teh 3 ways and are $50 cheaper...

goo luck and your 876 Lx sedan has 6.5" all around....thats what mine HAD before I replaced them
