Brake pads

My front brake pads had been squealing recently (not the wear indicator, I still have 2-3 mm of good pad), so during my next trip to the import parts store I picked up a set of Axxis pads for $42. I decidied to spend a bit more and get something better than the generic semi-metalics that were $27. Once I got home and read the box I noticed that these were organic pads. Can good organic pads be beter than cheap semi-metalics pads? The pads I have now (no idea what they are, they came with the car) have a groove down the center that the Axxis pads don't have. Has anyone used Axxis pads? Any recomendations?

i use genuine pads ! they work great for me ! :)

The best pads, like the Nissin pads AEM sells, are more than likely al gonna be semimetalic, so they are gonna make noise. Its no big deal.
