well i know mounting on the box is bad habbit, so i was wondering were you guys mounted your amps as i am about to do the same

I have mine on my box now....but I am gonna relocate it to the back of the back seat.

Mine are also mounted to the back of the rear seat.

mine were originally mounted on the back seat...but now that i custom made the entire trunk it is all flush mounted on the floor.

No I just havent cleaned it out after bring home firewood for camping yet.

I have used the back seat, floor in trunk (flush mounted) and a amp rack so when the seat was down it would show....I am currently working on my new setup but im running into trouble because i have 3 Amps and no room that works well. I want to have it so the back seat can be down and show my strut bar and have a plexi glass window in the back of my box to show the subs. im stuck on this one i will see tommarow when i start cutting the wood.....

i have mine (1 600 watt) under my passenger seat...easily accessible from the rear seat

isn't that a little dangerous? there isn't much space down there. People could see the amp, and try to break in... that's why i'm mounting mine on the box. I'm reducing the vibrations by placed a fat piece of foam or something between the box and the amp.

not dangerous at all...it fits perfectly, and no one can see it...i have a 2 door and the passenger seat is usually all the way back, it works out great, when i need to get to the controls, they are easy to access, but no one can see the amp itself.

my big amp is on my sub box and my little 260 watt 4 channel is mounted in front of the shifter console! it has a messy wiring job but the rest of my car is messy!

If you look in your trunk, and to the left, there is a space with a black elastic band? That's where my amp is mounted.
