Are you broke or cheap and would like to have a CAI. Well now you can make your own and all you need is a dremel or some other kind of drill. All you need to do is make two small (or large if you want) unnoticable holes in the bottom of youre car. On the bottom front passenger side corner(USDM)of your car drill a hole through the plastic covering and behind (on top) of that youll see a black square box. In the center there is a small hole, make it larger (mines about 1-2 inches in diameter) and youre done! If my explanation sucks (and I know it does) here are some pictures that are pretty selfexplanatory.
heres how it looks

and thats the box underneath

you get a noticably deep sound afterwards and i noticed a small increase in performance and economy. I recomend it as an affordable and effective upgrade for begginers. Just make sure to wear safty glasses or protect your eyes because i nearly lost one of mine when a hot chunk of plastic hit my eyelid.

:bowrofl: ive driven through rivers with no problems(the roads flood over here when it rains hard) but my car isnt lowered so maybe thats why. but yeah that does happens with real CAI, good thing about this is that the air-filter is in the same spot(oh this is for f/i 3g's). Cars never died on me trough so dont worry:rofl:
