Well, mine is FUEL INJECTED (LX-i) 1987.
After sitting overnight it starts, shakes like hell,
(rmp going from 2000 to almost 0 and back),
then dies. After restart still shakes until warmes up. Did initial shaking before, started dying after
first start recently. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Well, lets see.... Does it run fine when it warms up?

Yes it does.

I'd look at the TW sensor and wire, I believe that is what tells the computer it's cold out,(should be well more than 1k ohms when cold) and the fast Idle control valve(should have vacume to valve when cold)... If those check good then we can look elsewhere...

just an idea but could be the fuel pump....or a vacuum leak, idk if it is the same but on my bro's bmw the fuel pump is going bad and the idle when it is cold is crap...and it does what you described, it ould not be the fuel pump but just a thought to keep in mind
