im so excited, much better than my car, i will gladly let my car go 2 the junkyard now :) im gonna love this car sooooo much :D no plans for it yet tho, was thinking of a pop-up conversion though

i gotta fix the gasket and replace the altanator first though.... hope this one wont end up like my 1

its a A18A just like mine too, so should be able to swap parts easily :)

i just cant get over how cheap the car was, and it was a 3g accord, and it was in my city, and its a manual, that is EXACTLY what i wanted, i cant belive it

i would but your way over there in CA and im way over here in NZ and the shipping is gonna cost a lot of money because of the bonnet and these things that hold the edms in are spot welded in so would have to drill them out, its a good idea if we just get the bonnets and fenders from a junk yard. but if it is *CHEAP* ill swap ya :)

she runs, its the head gasket that needs replacing, and he says it needs a new altanator but it would be ok if i swap it with mine aye?

i'll check the shipping cost,but i just got a set of fenders, hood,bumper, one piece jdm headlights i want to se if thats gonna fit , i measured and everithing is within a couple of inches.but if nothing fits for sure we'll have to swap.

im pretty sure its just the brackets (if thats what they called) thats the main problem, might have to swap the middle piece that bolts on to the radiator aswell but im sure everything else would bolt on simply, im just hoping that my car has the holes for the motors, and the wiring already there

haha, I hope you are experienced with working on your car... getting to your headgasket is going to be a chore...

alternator.... in a carbed 3g... I NEVER want to do one again. The FI one i'll do in a second.... i had one pulled in exactly 5 minutes before...

the carbed one took me like an hour lol.... damn rusty bolts and that huge intake manifold!

if he decides that it will take a few minutes to replace the alternator, but it takes him a few hours to do it, that would suck pretty bad.

so i'm just giving him a heads up. However, damn good deal for the car. Looks clean.

Nice CA Accord. Sure beats your old one. But why would you want to convert it to pop up lights, that front end is sweet. Anyway if you want to do it, you have to swap out the entire radiator support assembly/front bulkhead. You do that by drilling out a lot of spot welds and welding the new bulkhead back in.
