So you live close to Vancouver Wa.????
Thats awsome. I used to live around there.
As far as your car go's ......
Looks Fantastic, really diggin the color.
My only beef was it looks like a real cheap paint job.
Like Macco, i took my Civic (when i had it) to Alpine on Mill plain
but i think.... wait... there is.
There's an Alpine auto body on 4th plain as well, they did a real great job on my car.
but then again mine was just a color match for the front.
Love it though.

all i said when i saw this was wow. thats very different but its quite likeable. i think that looks great. if i might ask. why'd you use an 86-87 rear bumper? looks good

Baveara

body work looks like shit and the paint is single stage looking. but other than the color making it look dirty all the time it's great!

dude is that olive green?!?! it's hella nice, i want that color in a coupe, really nice.

Zufer
01-01-2006, 06:48 PM
so to answer a bunch of questions lets start from the top..

yes those are factory corners tinted using nightshade

it is a medium paint job... in that we did all the work ourselves... it is a single stage paint. It still needs to be cut and buffed out then i should look a little better

The rear bumper is the 86-87 because i wrecked a my car a while back and that was the only one we could get locally at the time.

The color is Nissan Canteen Green.

Thanks for all the comments guys

they are ARC wheels... i bought them from another member on the board... they used to be gold but i painted them myself

in my opinion that 1step paint doesnt look bad at all, buff it and wax it and i bet it will look just as good, if not better, then any 2-3 step paintjob that you pay a shitload for.

Really clean car, im in love lol... and i think i found the color i should pain my car when i get it redone :P :P

hey don't be stealing my color!!! just kidding.

It looks really good in person... and ya with a buff and wax it should look great

looks good with the black rims. although it seems more like a color scheme i'd see on a jeep than a 3g. but nice nonetheless. the whole thing makes the wheels and tires look much bigger than they actually are. could scare people with that.

he said comments, not hating. i think it looks tight except for the rims they are a little strange looking kinda fat or something, but i think some clean black 5 spokes with chrome lip would set it off the paint nicely. keep savin up the money :)

Zeph (Zufer) is one of the coolest and most genious/gifted 3geezers around. His suspension setup is fanfuckingtabulous and his car handles probably better than anyone elses. Quite amazing indeed.

dude i love the color, but i think a nice clear coat or even wax would make it jump out more. unless you were going for the military look in which case i aplaud your attempt. anyway, i also (jokingly) want to say...it blends into the background very well! lol

Thanks for the comments again... it always feels good to get compliments on my work. Once again the car hasn't been cut or buffed since the paint... so that should get it lookin a little nicer.
The lip is a stock 94-95 accord lip... i really wanna upgrade to something else but only when i have some extra money
Like i said earlier i'll take some pics showing my mods later

Looks great...IMO do something with the tails. Maybe darken the whole lense...or even go with Black and red. Alos maybe look into some Slipstreams. It looks good now but I think they would even better! Just my $.02

Its not the green i had in mind. I had more of a deeper and metallic green in mind. It looks good none-the-less.

i personally picture this car with having like a sport bronze colord rim from rota...

Zufer
01-03-2006, 02:42 PM
i wouldn't mind a set of bronze circuit 8's.... but i think i'll keep these for now

oh and the tails just need another couple coats of red.... they were done in a hurry... but come summer i'll fix em up

honestly bro if i were you, i'd jsut shave that red crap off your tails. it'll look 10X cleaner, trust me! i had that on ym teg for a while, andi hated it, it looked dull and grimy like they were always dirty, plus it chipped, alot! so i fianlly jsut paint scraped it all off, then waxed and the tails. now they are fockin clean! pleasne jsut clean your wheels wet up your tires, wax your car and stock up the tails, and your car will be like gold!: :) :)

i think hes got the mysterious EF civic in front (modified to fit) and EK bolted up in the rear, with 450 lbs coilovers. then ST rear sway and stock lxi front sway.

Zufer
01-06-2006, 12:07 PM
boba nailed the suspension... with the addition of the front being 350lb coilovers and strut bars front and rear

and anyone who has ridden in the car can vouch for it's great handling

AccordEpicenter
01-07-2006, 12:10 AM
so the ef and ek struts work good? I thought there were guys that blew those up?

Ahhh... Can't believe I didn't see these sooner, I've been so busy with work though, but I've been waiting for these pics for a while now... Looks AWESOME!.

I have always loved earth tones for colours, and was wondering what one of our cars would look like in that type of colour, it looks great... Keep us updated.,

i also want to know how you are controlling the camber. in the front. I am finding ways to drastically adjust my camber upon my preference. But seems like we are limited with the methods we have.

Zufer
01-09-2006, 09:53 AM
right now i am just using prelude arms for camber adjustment

looks really good. i almost painted my car a similiar color. rims look good. is that a 94-95 accord front lip? keep it up

Trick87Accord
01-12-2006, 12:40 PM
i dont like the money green look, or the rims.

bobafett
01-12-2006, 01:13 PM
yeah... i know what u mean...

some sick chrome 18" tri spoke wheels would probably fit the accord a little better IMHO... and honestly these accord look better with bright colors like bright blue and bright yellow. :)

all in all its not that good... a better thing to use than that lip would be an invader kit for a civic... it would fit the lines of the car a lot better than that lip, and it would definetly be more agressive. a roof scoop and hoodscoop would be tight too...

oh well.. to each his own...
ur car is getting there zeph, but i would replace those rims with some 18 or 19inch giovannis! :D

HondaSi88
01-12-2006, 10:03 PM
tint those windows and u will be set........a slight tint would set that car off!

dude i love that color its stealth like very army-esk. It look really good except for the side molings i think they would look better if you didnt paint over them( little pet-peeve of mine) but it looks good nontheless.
and im diggin your whell and tire combo looks tight

Zufer
01-13-2006, 09:28 AM
Thanks for the compliments guys... and Boba... i guess you are right i'll have to add some 18's to the package... those stock lx brakes will look so good under those

Oh and if it would stop raining i would go take more pics of my mods and stuff... but it has been pouring all day everyday
