Quick question, I tried searching but didn't really find anything that gives me a direct answer. When putting in a "Mild" Cam will I have to replace all my head internals per say like valve springs and all that? would they have to be replaced with performance ones if they gotta be replaced? or will the stock ones work fine with this kind of cam?

thanks

for a mild cam, you should be able to use the stock old springs on the head. But if you are rebuilding the head and getting a cam with a higher lift and longer duration, you need to get stiffer valve springs to eliminate valve float. Besides, changing the cam to a mild-street type will let you use the stock rev band and redline so u wont experience valve float.

In summation, you will be fine with a mild cam and old stock valve springs

Alright thanks, didn't want to put it in until I was for sure.

If you are getting a different cam, see if you can ask them to regrind the cam to a one where you will get some gains in the mid to high rpm and within the stock rev band. This would not let u hit the fuel cut region and still maximize the revband.
