On my 84 Hatch, I want to have the plastic bumpers painted light blue like the rest of the car. They are black DX type covers right now, but the surface I would have painted is smooth so I think it will not look beaded. What kind of additive(s)/primers (flex agent?) should I make double sure to request? The bumpers are off the car already. I know 90% of body shops will automatically add the right catalysts so it can flex and not peel, but I had a guy not do it right one time. It peeled and was pretty much a wasted cover at that point. I need it to be durable and shine nice cuz that's how I roll...:)
