Does anyone know much about these bazooka bass tubes http://www.bazooka.com/productAutoAmplifiedBTsEL.asp , does the bass pack a punch? are they pretty good? I would get subs but i need the trunk space for work. thx

I started out with a 10 inch bass tube. It was ok but for the money i would rather invest in an amp and subs. Plus if its in a trunk it drowns it out but they do sound good in HB or Jeeps. You would be better off with individual components.....

aren't bass tubes not so good? I recommend going mainstream and just getting a sub in a box!

The reason i was thinking of getting a bass tube is because i can remove it easily when i need the trunk space, and i could get one for around 50 to 70 bux with a built in amp. But i havent heard much about them, all i heard is that bazooka makes the best bass tubes but i dont even know if thats true

Not only boot space, but you get an addition of weight. Meaning less performance :( too bad i only got stock stuff performance wise to my 3G, if not i'd be spewing a little over the weight :D :)

well, why buying crap when for about the same money you can get good bass in your car. I got single 12"alpine in a sealed box. it is light enought to remove it if i have to plus it has enough bass to give me headache.
i paid $175 for the sub and box, plus you can find nice cheap amp somewhere on ebay.

Yeah don't buy a bass tube man, it's a waste of cash. Save up for something good.
