Hello, My name is Nick. I bought a 1989 Accord SE-I last month. Hit a curb the second day of owning it, and since replaced the steering rack and control arm. I also own a 94 Altima [U13, KA24DE].

Im new to the whole Honda thing, although not new to tuning. To this point Ive only worked on Nissans and Toyotas, with one or two Hondas in there. Im also on Nissanclub.com and nissanforums.com, my user name is "nocoastmusic".

I am completely DIY. Nothing I own is too heavily modded mainly because I am a college student at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Engineering, and live on my own.

Here are some picture of my last project [U13 Altima]:

The leather is torn in places, has some dings. The previous owner got hit by a deer [the deer jumped on the car], so the car has some damage to the hood, grill, and the front right head light.

Welcome Nick.
Good luck, the sei is the most saught after and optioned of the Accords....rear discs and all.
Anyway, how much did you pick it up for? Looks like a decent car for sure.

the audio controls are there, but the factory headunit isnt so they lack purpose.
as for plans, id like to mod it, but i might end up fixing the damage, driving it for a while and selling it. If i do end up modding it [which i probbaly will], i will do a custom intake ad exhaust from mandrel bends. The some custom lower tie bars, and upper strut bars, tokico HP's and somebrand lowering springs.
If i end up falling in love and going all out:
Gut it [no: PS,ac all other convience weight]
s&w cage maybe?
Plans are up in the air. If I fix the floor boards and other misc problems on the altima, this car might just be a daily driver. or i mght sell it.
Unfortunatly at this moment, althought i dont want to, i might have to sell it.

The CA18DET is a nice engine. Turboed KA's are nice too... I dont know why people bash the KA, It beats the A20A3 anyday...... :)

I agree KA's are very boost friendly... I prefer a ka over a sr... But the CA is a nice engine too... I'm tryin to talk a buddy into a CA rather than the SR he's attempting to build... But all in all I'll stick with with a A20.. (Built my way.. like at burger king:flash: ...lol)

But anywayz, welcome... Thats a great lookin car... I remember when mine looked like that... Whats the mileage?

Damn I sound crazy n that first paragraph... lol.. Please do trust I Do know what i'm sayin though...
