Yep I do the tail lights.Thanks for the props. Thats my buddy Justin's car its pearl white with blue flakes. His car is sick in person. Only 4 door I've seen with a shaved trunk.

hey thanks guys for the props it does mean a lot. the carbon fiber hood was custom made when I ordered it. but yeah I like it now I just want to see what will happen to it in the future. my hood was unlatched because I just got done on some work on my headers. it did look like the hood was messed up, but it does fit really well for custom work a while ago. but this is just the beginning of the car so we'll see what comes out of it. but thanks again for the support even though it isn't for everyone. and thanks Bullard for posting the pics they turned out great

No problem dude. Sometimes people don't appreciate all of the hard work that is put into a car, especially older ones like these 3geez. I give you mad props for all of the hard work you put into it even though its not for everybody. But yeah your car is still sick. fart can + huge ass body kit + steelies + shaved trunk + white painted interior panels + mismatched body kit color/sideskirts = :rice: IMO

Props on the CF hood though, those are expensive and hard to find. If your happy about your work, then more power to you. Just not my cup a tea, you know what I mean?

I'm sorry, but that car is :ugh: I give you props for the work you did to your car (although I expect you probably spent more on the kits/bodywork than on the car itself.) However, for look wise, I'd say it's a lil overboard... But i've seen worse. so I'd give it a 5/10 overall.

No they are mine not my dads, and they all do run and drive, I am just busy and don't have much time for them right now with work, and school, and bills....I have had them since high school...except the red van thats my dads buddys van, I'm currently painting it. I usually try to pull them out in the spring and summer bad last year was a bad year, and I didn't get a chance to pull them out and clean them.....I do start them from time to time, and run them.

You pretty much summed it up guaynabo. Nobody car is perfect. Its easy to point out flaws on other people's cars and call it rice but what about our own?
If you don't have any visible body damage, you might need engine work, if you don't need engine work just look underneath of the car. We are always going to have problems with these 17, 18 and 19 year old cars. Think about it he has done a lot of things to his car that many people haven't done on here. And just because his car is different doesn't automatically make it rice. He had a pretty bad accident a couple of months ago and he is in the process of getting the car totally repainted again and more custom work done to it. Pretty soon my hatch will be at that same shop to get some custom work done to it.

And you, deadhead, have exhaust with a pretty big tip, the exhaust is only temporary because I am still working on it (getting Matrix exhuast put on). Your hatch is nice by the way. And Bglad those are some pretty nice old cars they just need A LOT of work. Thanks though about the CF hood it was expensive because I bought it too soon, but I don't regret it because it is really good quality.

Yes, I had a huge ass muffler on my car at one point. I hated the damn thing, it didn't sound "bratty" like most of the exhausts do, it was an extremely deep tone.... but the drone was terrible and gave me a nasty headache.

Right now i've changed that muffler to an Aero Turbine muffler. It sounds awesome, but it loud as hell. When i find another job hopefully here soon, i'm going to put a glasspack on before the Aero. That should resonate the sound a bunch, and it'll sound kick ass.

Thanks for the complement on the hatch btw. And with the mismatched body kit, i meant how it's unpainted from the rest of the car from what I could tell in the pictures. The "fart can" is what always seems to be put on honda's and have an extremely "bratty" tone to them which makes them extremely annoying. They sound like a weed wacker.

I remember the days i had steelies on. hmmmmmm. that day was not too far away. The car looks okay, but for me......... its too much white everywhere. Seems like the bondo is cracking near the inner rear lights. I am not a big fan of body kits esp 4th gen ones. I think the 4th gen kits were one of the worst that accords can ever see. Xenon kits for our cars and the Kaminari kits were decent. Small and yet it flowed with our boxy and sharp angled car. I like the paint, i know you spent a lot of money into this car. Hopefully it would be when its finished.

I really don't think the car is the shit or anything I just think it has potential finally. 3rdgenhatch, you call me a noob, but I joined two years before you, I really don't get that. All well you got a little too serious about this thread also. To say that I will end up 6 feet under is really taking it too far - it's just a car. All well, thanks again for everyones two cents, it just helps me want to make the car better. As for the switch it is a moonroof switch, but I hooked that switch up to something different so it isn't just sitting there. Besides I don't need a simple moonroof for what I am putting in. The kit is actually for the 3g, i got it from extremedimensions.com, the back bumper didn't fit at all so we had to cut the whole thing apart to make it fit (sort of). Deadhead - how much did the Aero Muffler cost you? I've heard pretty good things about it. Oh yeah and about the rims, I'm putting on 18s for now. I'm going to buy 20s for the back and 19s for the front when the air suspension goes on. Maybe my car is rice to some people but everyone has their opinions, which I respect.

I remember the first time I saw his car out of the shop, his paint was real nice flakes were about to blind me. I really like the idea on how you shaved the trunk deck, i dont like how people try to black it out to make it look like it matches. I like how yours is actually shaved. However it would look alot cleaner with the cracks gone lol.

Ok look, I have respect for the fact your trying to do something origenal, Your on the right track, But i feel i need to mention a few thangs,

First off,
Your car is not worth more then 500 dollers,
you have alot of your own personal time put into it,
but the body kit alone is worth more then the car (before you hacked it all to hell) so is your hood

I am honestly Not trying to bash you, i like a few thangs you have done, But your car is no better then anyone elses here, The fact is you have a 20 year old Automatic honda. with im sure 200k or more. My86dx4dr thanks for your opinion on my car it really means a lot. Neutral feedback is just as good as good and negative feedback. Anyways, I got the car from my grandpa when he died so my kit is worth more than the car because it was free in trade for my grandpa's death. I got the car with 71,000 miles on it and now it has 113,000 miles (your guess was pretty close to 200,000 though - good job!). If my engine dies, that one dies and another goes in - it's just as simple as that. My kit was not "hacked" as you put it, it was just put on (maybe that means hacked to you, but not me). And if you read earlier in the post about all the trash talking...it was just for fun. I'll say it again - I don't mind the people that hate or bash, it just gives me more motivation to make my car look better and better ( in my own opinion ). Thank you HondaSi88 for the compliments. Yeah I have the dual exhaust waiting to be put on and I am getting rims very soon. As the tint I just decided on getting it and it's a pretty cheap fix up so I'll have to do it ASAP. Oh yeah - it's original not origenal, and it's dollars and not dollers just trying to help you out - now I'm just going to sit back and laugh ( j/k ). But I really don't car if someone likes the car or not, but I do so it's all good. ahhh fuck you, its a god damn hack job. the only part i like is the clear part of the outer tail. neat. dual exhaust on a 2 liter? come on man, and it is a hack job, because it wasnt designed for the 3g, so you HACKED another kit.

Well to begin with, about the exhaust, maybe it's just me but there is two holes for the exhaust so I'm going to fill it up. But maybe I'm blind. Plus more Civics have dual exhaust that have 1.5 and 1.6 liters. Other than that it sounds like you are taking this way too far just like other people out there, just because you can't spell doesn't mean you can get mad at me for correcting you. It how many dollars faster do you want to go...I've got suspension technique swaybars coming, strut bars to put on, shocks struts, install my springs, brake upgrade....and turbo it later this summer, mabey winter who knows....but I plan on building a auto x/road race car out of it......I allready have some mods on it(mostley cosmetic) and to do to it

nice...it sounds like it is getting there...good luck with it because I think the hatch is the nicest of all the 3g's myself. how's the clutch? I am putting a complete new motor and tranny in by winter and I'm wondering who I should get one from. as for the brake upgrade, did you get rear discs? because that is something i really need and it seems pretty easy. oh yeah I forgot to delete or change my threads earlier about the kit and other stuff, does it still show up? i figure i should delete them so people don't have to waste any time on posting stupid posts. all well. but also what was wrong with the headlights? nothings really wrong with the lights except they dont light the road very well, you need to adjust the shit out of them, personally I'm really diggin the Exedy (buy from e-clutchmaster.com $89.00) ITs really grippy so far, only like 5-6k on it so far, but I beat the hell out of it and I have no slipage, grips really good, as for the rear brakes I'm waiting on the discs.......(hurry up will ya) then I'm gonna go Brembo slotted at all fours with green stuff pads or AEM don't know for sure yet though.....

yeah rear discs is a must for all cars nowadays. that's a really good price on the clutch and it sounds like it's worth it. i know how you feel about the lights not being as bright as stock ones. mine are just as bad as my first pair, and i'm on my fifth pair. i'm thinking about doing hid so i can actually see. it's a cheap mod and it would improve a lot. it's good to upgrade the brakes when you are planning on boosting your car because it would be nice to stop when you are going fast. brakes are just as important as going fast if not more important. if you end up putting a turbo on it you should post how it went putting a kit on.

Yeah its nice because I did a SR swap on my buddys 240 and were upgrading his system along with my other buddys DSM so I'm taking all their old crap and building a setup......One good thing about being a mechanic is the freebies....2 turbos, two intercoolers, DMS injectors.......and a bunch a crap!!

that's cool. actually i didn't want to tell anyone, but i'm actually going to spend the money to put a nissan gti-r motor and tranny put in my car. it is an AWD sr20det, but with an american sr20 tranny it can be made into front wheel because i don't think i'll have enough for the awd. plus that motor will have enough power for me for the time being. i've gone through a lot of engine choices and this one sounds pretty interesting, but a lot of people aren't going to like it but oh well. i think the most expensive part is going to be the motor mounts and axles. the engine is pretty cheap surprisingly. how did the swap go for your friends 240? Yeah i'm going to help my friend put a turbo kit on his 97 200sx for the second time. he was going to put an sr20 in it but decided on building his ga16de.

As for Asian the SR swap was accually pretty easy, but thats me I've been working on cars forever!!! A lot of custom and fabricational work, but the sr swap is super simple, the FWD version you might want to be careful with due to the individual throttle bodies, and for a trans a Sentra SE-r would be your best bet....make sure it for the SR20DE though or it will be crap too you. You hardest thing I think will just wireing the ecu, but if you pull the harness, and splice your stuff into that It should be a lot easier....
