zackie darko - i dont know what ur asking me man... :)

cheeseburger - i am quite scared to add it all up.. but i will try to do it soon.

guaynabo89 - the setup on the oil filter housing is this:

tuner toys oil filter fitting, with autometer electronic oil pressure gauge sender sticking off to the left, and then the stock sending unit plugged into the top. the other side of the tuner toys fitting has another spot so i can have turbo oil feed line coming from there. also vtec oil line could be run this way if u were trying an ls/vtec swap.

here is a link to the part: http://tunertoys.zoovy.com/product/OTODK $21 ish

Wow

Thanks for the link. Thats exactly what I needed. Your gonna use the other end for the oil feed line on the turbo correct?

Im planning on installing my edelbrock intake and was going to install all my gauges at the same time. One of which is the same autometer elec. oil pressuregauge you probably have.

oh i could show you pics of the turbo, but they arent gonna be on the motor just quite yet! :P this is my NA setup. boosted setup isnt even going to get through the planning stages until my car has a sufficient engine management setup going. hopefully something along the lines of the megasquirt setup. :)

man seeing this makes me want to start on my engine. i'll need to get my datsun fixed so it can be my daily driver if i'm going to go that far. that's what i'd hope for from a build is around 165 hp from being n/a because i dont ever plan to go turbo on the accord. and i still want to keep mine carbed.

i may take the accessories back off and mask off the head and oil pan, and just rattle can it... im not 100% sure. gotta get my garage area all cleaned up first...

and bitesize - i dont have anything new going on with the car. but ill post pics of the empty and clean engine bay, and in a while after i finish the project i will post the results of my new wiring and battery in the back install, and gauges and SAFC install. :) the final product should be ready in 2-3 weeks. :P

anybody have block painting techniques you would like to share? i have a cheap gun, but im thinking of just hitting it with a can. ford gray was suggested. cause its clean and u can see oil easily on it (so i know if i have a problem)

I have block painting advise, just use rattle can engine paint. Before you paint it, clean that engine real good & get off all the oil, or the paint won't adhere to the block. Spray on evenly & several coats.

Here is my latest block painting.
