yeah, it's awful isn't it. then imagine how filthy you'd feel if it was a stock intake.

I don't think it really matters what brand of intake you have. The filter is the main part. But good pick up on the APC.

the sad part about that being marked down to $15...

both wal-mart and apc are most likely STILL making a profit from it.

But i wish i could of done my intake for $15... even though mines a full CAI.

I spent about $80 including the filter.

well, there's a definite increase in cabin noise and especially when accelerating. if you floor it, you'll have no question of whether you have an engine or not. i'm not too keen on the whole tone at 5000+, but i don't usually drive in that range anyway so no big deal.
yeah, might be a bit small. because i have the battery there. if i were to relocate the battery, i could've used the full length of the piping and it would've ended up where the battery is. other people could tell you what difference if any that would make. and it's probably just my enthusiasm, but i think there's a slightly noticeable increase in power. not like jumping up 20 hp like w/ an rsx-s but maybe 2-3. and some torque too.

umm, well, as you can see, i cut off around six inches so that it fits without messing with the battery position. hood closes fine, although i'm not quite sure if it touches a little or not. i don't think it does. it fits fine if you don't have cruise control. the cruise control cable that comes off the passenger side of the throttle body on mine has a metal sheath that's so it doesn't bend. so, it causes it to be pushed back a little (you can see it in the pic of it on if you look close enough).

yeah, i bought a breather but haven't felt like putting it on. it was like $7. and some caps for the pipe off the intake where the blue hose is now. so grand total is now $24.
