These are a few pics that i took before and after the new hood got painted. since the last time i've also go new rims and did a 5 speed swap. i just moved to georgia today and have tons of free time so im going to be spending it completely detailing the car and giving it a new drop. those will hopefully be some good pics.

Looks really nice, like a brand new car again. I'm going to get mine painted the same color, but I don't know where I should take it. The Honda body shop here painted a car of mine and it was terrible.

guess that's how mines going to look when i have it repainted with a new hood. i'm just gonna get a carbon fiber one since i found it cheaper just to order a finished one instead of painting a new steel one. looks good. what carb do you have one there? 32/36 weber?

i wondered what the car would look like with that part of the hood unpainted. nice.

where did you get the hood? how much did it cost?

Looks like you spend a little to much time under the hood with the armor all. J/K I had been thinking about doing that with a carbon fiber hood when i get my car painted.

That does look like a weber carb. I'm looking into those myself. What sort of improvements did you notice?

thanks for the compliments i got the hood on ebay and ended up paying about 500 total for it with the paint. the weber is a 32/36 but was on the car when i got it so i dont have any comparison from stock

i also have a weber and it's been a long way since the stock carb... but now that it's tuned nicely it works a lot better. The city gas mileage is kinda bad but the highway it's comparable to stock. Oh and i just drove a stock carbed car the other day.... and lets just say it felt turtle slow

my thoughts exactly. i was looking at the engine pic and thought it would be great if we could see it in detail. my question is: how are those vacuum lines being used on the weber? i've never really seen them being left after a weber was installed. dunno if you'd know because it came on the car when you got it.

Great looking accord... I really like those wheels, and the hood painted that way looks really clean.
