dashboard electrical problem

when I turn on the headlights the windshield wipers come on as well as the headlights.

the turn signal bulbs on the instrument panel are always dimly lit

the dashboard light does not come on

the "beep beep beep" with the keys in the ignition comes on very very slowly and quietly, if at all (sounds like the battery is dying but the battery is fine)

also when I turn on the headlights, the engine temp gauge goes up to red (but engine is not overheating) and when I turn lights off it goes back down.


I am almost 100% positive that this is a bad ground somewhere but my only problem is I am at a loss for finding a diagram that shows all the ground points on the chassis.

Can anyone help?

Sounds like a possible ground problem.....youd be suprised on what a bad ground connection will do.........trust me I've been there.....Their should be a ground located around the steering column under the dash somewhere pull of the cover and check around.......hope this helps

not only ground but you may aswell chek all your main +12v connections, such as the battery terminal, and all the fuse wiring
