Ok first Ive searched for awhile now and cant seem to find what Im looking for. Ive PM'd a few guys with no response, My question....Is it possible to put a holley 2bbl carb on a A20A1? Ive seen alot of webber swaps but their not in my price range, I can pick up a holley pretty cheap. The reason Im wanting to do this is to clean up the engine bay...and get rid or all those ugly ass vacume lines. Plus I might be able to get rid of my idle issues as well. Anyone know if this is possible?

I found his post and read all 3 pages but it never said it worked or not. I got a good idea on how he did it but I dont know if he was happy with it or not. Do you know how the outcome was?

Hello, I'm in the process of replacing the keihin on my '88 lx. I did some research and found that holley bought the rights to reproduce the Weber DFAV carb back in the early 70's. The 5200 series Holley is nearly identical to the Weber (DGV manual choke, DGEV electric, DGAV water) and comes on a number of gm, ford and dodge vehicles. I bought one that was factory rebuilt for $58 off of ebay. Then you can go to webercarbs.com and buy the adaptor plate and linkage required, their helpful, don't go to redline because they were pricks to talk to. The series 5200 holley, from what I've heard, uses the same jets as the Weber DG*, so you can also get these and the rebuild kits off of ebay also. Go ahead a buy yourself the $12 Weber book off of Amazon, and you'll be in business. A20A1 posted this and it is great help - http://www.3geez.com/forum/showthread.php?t=38161&highlight=dg%2A+jet%2A.
I'll e-mail you the list of vehicles the 5200 is supposed to be on. Good Luck, Jordan -ND

Oh you mean doing this:

That would be a Holley 5200/Weber DGV on an A20A1 intake manifold.
