ok i swaped the efi of the bt and on the a20a1's block it seems to b lacking power y? r the heads differnt from one another? do i need to change fuel pumps?

definately. the pump for the carb engine doesnt push much pressure, surely not enough for a fuel injection system. so try that, change the pump out and see how you improve. it would be worth it to get an aftermarket pump. something with better flow and pressure. now, as you said its lacking power. do you mean it has less power than before with a carb?

thnx for tha replys i still have the bt fuel pump an oem fuel regulator from the bt i will consider buying an aftermarket pump

no, its 2.0 efi

A18 and B18 are 1.8 accord motors

I see so you're using the BT Head and EFI stuff with the A20 bottom end.

A20A1 had lower compression, I dunno if that was because of the head or the block.

What did the bt come in...how different is it than the a20 or is the same motor???

i only have the block from the a20a1 eveything else is from the bt

Same motor. Came in 86 LX-is.


As far as fuel pressure, the carb is like 3-5 psi and the EFI is 37. You can see how much difference it is. You're really starving it of fuel so you really shouldn't drive it until you get that fixed. You can seriously risk blowing your motor.
