Well check it out. I now own 88turboaccord old accord!!! I picked it up sunday. It has seen alot better days but will see good days again. I have everything to put it back together. Justin tore it apart to be make it even better then before but never really got the chance to finish it. Plus he has a twin turbo audi now and loves it to death lol! But here are some pics of it!

If you dont remember which car im talking about here is what it used to look like.

The fully built engine!
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d144/b20accord/101_0202.jpg

As you guys know. I sold my b20 to twoloudandproud saturday so its gone and decided to go another route.

alright well here is whats happening. He gave me TONS of parts with it. I have the fully built engine thats in the car right now with a brand new cylinder head. I have a spare a20 and a few trannys with it. Along with a couple intake manifolds and a spare head.

The fully built engine is going in my 4 door for now and will be boosted right away. The other engine will probbaly be going in my new accord and being rebuilt and put back together etc..

Don't forget to check these guys out for a turbo manifold for our cars:

http://www.evolution-racing.com/store/exmanifold.htm

I'm supporting them cus they are the only company I know of that makes a turbo exhaust manifold for our cars. The more they sell, the more they will have available for our cars and they probably would get cheaper as demand increases

Nice find, what all is done to that motor? You should keep it gutted and make a race car out of that thing. Use the 4DR as a daily driver  . Welcome to the hatch family

I wish I had the time to put the car back together, but after 3-5 yrs of sitting around, I just knew I would never get back to it. I just hope that the car gets restored and not sent to the junk yard. Best of luck to you.

I drive this car now instead

Well i tore the engine apart today. It wasnt in as good as shape as i thought but it should be fine. The JE pistons had some scuff marks on some of them and one of them had it pretty bad. But the cylinders looked fine. So i have my friend polishing up the sides of the pistons to take out the scuff marks and them hone all of the cylinders and going to just put them back in with the same rings and see what they do. Hopefully they will turn out ok. The bearings werent in the best shape either so im replacing all of them too.

Hey justin, what compression ratio were these pistons again???

do you think you can have this ready for our dyno meet, it wuld be sweet to see your car there

88turboaccord

Sorry the pistons were not in the best of shape. The CR is 8.5:1. The rings are off of the ford ranger 2.3L motor.
