well you have to admit, even if it's not your style, they must like the car enough to put that much work into it, it's not like rice where they slap some cheap junk on a civic, lowriders take tons of custom work and many many hours to build. I've done lots of custom work on my car,it's taken seven years so far,and i can't even imagine the amount of effort that went into that.

yeah true that sure is too much bling, i think it would be good if he put some purple in there so it would flow better with the rest of the car

well it's traditional lowrider. I wonder how much it cost to have all that stuf chromed? the purple represents royalty as does the crown

he might have done it himself, i did. if so, its real cheap. i spent like $20 bucks on materials for mine. people mistake it for chrome all the time, but its polished. refer to sig. later

lol the interior looks like Prince's living room. I'm definitely interested in all the chrome engine parts and that custom lambo door kit though.

the main difference between a ricer and a lowrider,is someone who builds a lowrider like this, has to fabricate a lot of the stuff themselves and get creative, how often do you see a ricer make something themselves,or even try to make something themselves.

i saw Custom Cars on modern marvels the other day

they made the transition from lowriders as a trend to Import Tuners, and this made me sad: "But, as years progressed, the DIY generation (Do it yourself) turned into the DIFM generation. (Do it for me) Now, instead of doing their own work on their cars, these Import tuners (usually young adults between the ages of 16 and 25) depend almost entirely on shops to do things for them" or something like that, wording was not exact, but it was still depressing. this is a DIY board, so we can call ourselves gearheads instead of import tuners.

well said, and what agrevates me,is that they go to car shows and show their cars, that they had someone else build. car shows are supposed to be about doing something yourself. not bragging about what your money had someone else do. why would i be interested in your car or talking to you about it when you never lifted a finger on it.
