well i officially gave up on going to socal, just not practical. But, i requested all of spring break off (3rd week in March for me) and was wanting to know how many of you texas guys wanted to have a meet in Dallas. I haven't met anyone on the site and i think it would kick ass. Hit me up

i gave up cuz it was a long ass drive and i only got one response. the car isnt running so great at the moment, after replacing o2 sensors it shot up to 24 mpg, which is better than 20, but still not good seeing as how i have full cold air and 2.25 exhaust with no cat. car needs a valve cover gasket too...im thinking i need to check the distributor. anywho, sry bro but it became a no go

Haha... Dude if you're doing a TX meet during spring break you might want to consider holding it in South Padre. The literal biggest TX car show is going on. I believe the official name is Spring Break Tuner Bash. Freackin' insane!! I want to go to that soo badly. And Houston isn't that far from Padre but, something about bringing a car w/ only a friend around a trilliion drunks makes me hesitent. But then again...a trillion drunks = a trillion hawt cars!!! But yeah just a thought :)

The problem is that texas is so large that nobody is in a central area. I would have to say the largest population of Texan 3geez would be in the houston area. You will definitly enjoy six flags that place rocks, but it would be cool if we could get an actual TX meet going down.

its about a 3 hour drive to get there, but once you arrive there is tons of traffic all the time. It kinda all depends on where in hosuton you are going, because that palce is HUGE. I had to drive kinda fast to get there in three hours.

There are a few Junkyards around here, but I dont know if there are as many as houston or anywhere else for that matter. We should have started much earlier on trying to get people together on on that week. If you guy are seriose we need to get on every car forum and tell people in all the Pre 90 honda section. I think Civic and CRX would classify just as much as Preludes and Accord. I know the Ballpark in arlington has a huge aprking lot that we could meet in. I dont think there will be much to do in Waco.

When I lived in Corpus I tried to keep mine off the beach - rust, you know? But, I could nto resist it a few times. Best way to make sure you don't get stuck is to do it while the sand is wet. Running start at 30-40 mph, turn the wheel and yank the e-brake handle - yee-ha!

well over spring break i took my car down to the beach like one time. i remember when i got it stuck once, it was very easy to push it out by hand when put in reverse. anyways, i didnt get stuck at all. they do pack the sand down so you can easily drive on it. i made sure to rinse the underside of the car after going out there. i live so close to the beach that its a shame i dont go out there very often.
