View Full Version : can i fit a F20 in a 3rd gen prelude?

i'm trying to fit a F20 engine from 1990 accord in prelude 3rd generation, wich had B20A5 engine inside...

any help would be appriciated

basically the same as swapping a h22. I dont get why you'd want to swap in a F20 though...

yeah, i don't know either... Doesn't the f22 have worse numbers then the B20?

we'll i'm actually not doing it for fun, but because i have that engine at home, from an old 89 accord, and it's the cheapest solution.. i hope :)

are you talking about the f20a, f20b, or f20b with vtec? either way, it can't be from an 89 accord and will probably have to be a custom install. but prelude power would really be a much better place to ask.

f20b is fast, i thought. its like a jdm accord or something? f20c is s2000, that wouldnt make sense. is f20a from some accord? i dont really know.

yeah, f20a is a dohc non-vtec. f20b is either sohc non-vtec or dohc vtec for the jdm performance version.
