i know this has been posted before, but i searched and i couldnt find the answer...


when i remove the fast idle valve, what do i actually do? do i just remove the entire assembly and them block it off with a metal plate?

do you have a DX like it says on the title??? if so,, it is carburated ,, no fast idle valve ..

its an Ex-I. i tihnk that thing just measures how often you post and changes between how many posts you have made

Metal plate, gasket maker, screws.

I'm doing the same with my IACV and throwing on a 10k resistor.


thats exactly what i had in mind, but how well would the gasket respond to boost?

cross that bridge when u come to it. if u do it properly i dont see why there would be a problem. worst case its a small, fixable boost leak.

cke have u experimented with running the car without the fast idle setup?
