Breaker bar....your never gonna get it off that way, you need AIR 125-175psi of air and a nice Impact and it will come right off.....

You're not going to get it off then, they put those on there to NOT come off, so I recomend finding a buddy that does......why are you taking them out anyways

Personally I use an Ingrasol Rand Quiet Drive + ..AWESOME Look around a little bit to get a good deal cuz some guys sell it for 300+ I got mine for 220, I think from Sears, cant remember quite right though.....You don't need to pull the axles to do the ball joints, If your reall desperate, you can pull the hole knuckle off, with the shaft still attached, and bring it in and they'll zap them off for you for $5....

Use a little anti-seize compound when you put them back on!

I can put mine on/take it off just fine with a 3/4" drive ratchet, and a 4' bar over that. But mines not rusted...

rent one or both.

Worse case take the whole thingoff, steering knuckel,CV shaft, brakes to a shop and have them spin it off.

There is a stake on the axle nut, you have to pry that out so the nut will turn. I had hell getting mine to break loose too. Used a cheater bar, almost broke my 1/2" breaker bar.

When I pulled my motor, I had to take the whole steering knuckle with the half shaft out, cause I couldn't get one side loose. I got tired of messing with it.

use a dremel or cutoff wheel to weaken the nut, you migh be able to just break it the rest of the way with torque.

A shop can break it loose for you with their air impact wrench and had tighten it enough for you to drive home. I slip one of the guys $5 and it takes 30 seconds.

yeah i tried my hardest, and even with breaker and me jumping on the damn thing, it wouldnt budge....

took a 600 ft/lbs (according to stepdad, i didnt check the part number) crafstman impact wrench, threw it on the lowest setting (didnt want to buy a impact socket) and it came off immediately... i might have started to loosen it up, cause it just seemed too easy with air. :)

and that was only at 100 psi

I got it using a 3/4 breaker bar with 6 foot pipe
