Alright my fuel gauge is not working right and it hasent been for like 2 weeks, At first it was sticking on the half way mark on a full tank of gas and wouldn't go up and then when it got lower than a half tank it finally started to go down and then when i stop it would show almost empty and then when i drove it would go almost half full im like wtf make up your mind.... I checked my intank sending unit and hooked it up to a ohm tester and it tested fine the resistor is working. What else could it be? Gauge cluster? maybe

well, did you check the float on the sending unit for any leaks. it could be that fuel is getting inside the float and it sinks.

if the float is good, you may want to replace the gauge. it should be easy to do. when you get the new gauges, just replace the speedo gauge (to keep the miles ). Don't try to replace the fuel gauge because it is very fraguile.
