We painted the edges too so it would blend better. I have yet to wet sand and buff. Soon though......before the meet.:)

IMO the fogs look a little funky, you should sink them into the lower grill or get some square ones. Just my opinion

I bet your engine compartment needs to be cleaned huh......wetsand goo, rubbing compound, all the goodies that run in there when you do a paint job......At least thats what all mine look like till I get enough ambition to clean them.........Ohhhh.....I hate cleaning engine bays......

Dood, don't wet sand your hood. According to Adrian (mkymonkey), the paint shop told him you aren't supposed to sand carbon fiber hoods at all. Go ask a paint shop.

I work with a 25 year vetran painter.........we wet sanded before we cleared. The hood has a gelcoat and needs to be at least scuffed before clearing. Sides.....it turned out great, and I don't have to worry about the cf fading now.
If you look close too, the hood has a shit ton of FX pearl in it too.

Yep, it's 2 1/2 with the pinch forks modded. So it's 3 inches in the front, and 2.25 in the rear.
I have Koni reds in the front and Tokico HP blues in the back.

Yeah thats a good set up. I see why you needed those camber kits cause I have 2.25 sprints in the rear and it threw my camber off -2 degrees.

Don't think I'm going to put the lip back on. The pacesetter will be soon. Along with the short shifter too. And my big brakes, and rear disks........ect........ect.......

I got it from another member here. But he bought it from Customcarbons. It's a grade A rolled edge hood, and it fits PERFECT. It is the best carbon fiber hood I have seen.
Hehe....ask me what I paid for it...........

I paid $75 for it......
Rolled edges are just that, they are rolled into the underside of the hood. The cut edges are cut, sharp, and ugly.... also with them beeing cut, there is a chance of the cf delaminating and really looking like shit.
