I have a few plans for it. There is definitely an amazing amount of aftermarket support for it. I'm piecing a custom turbo kit at the moment and waiting for some deals on some parts before I go with it. I'm thinking of using a T3 Super 60 turbo and custom manifold from a local shop called spoolinperformance.com

I miss my 3gee, but at least Abraham has it. I wish he would make it look pretty again cause those mini cooper wheels suck. At least it has 106whp ahhaha.

are you planning on building on the engine any? from a few friend that i've had locally with civics like that, after putting a turbo on them they have had a lot of engine problems. could be they just didnt do something right. would you think the A20 to be stronger than the civic engines?

I'm going to be running stock engine for the time being. as far as them having problems did they tune it? I'm going to tune it and it should run without any problems as many of my friends have stock engine turboed but tuned with crome programming and they run daily driver fine at 8psi.


As far as the A20 being stronger....probably since it is a cast iron manifold. But the head might prove itself something else.. You also come into worries about your clutch not holding up to all that power.. It's still a field I'm learning about since I thought I would alway go NA. But for the money, I cannot afford an ALL Motor power monster right now.

ha. I dont need anything. A B series was once thought to be a good motor for this car but this D series has under 100k still so whats the point of wasting a perfectly good motor. Instead I'm going to boost the sohc and have fun with that for awhile before going B or even K. I'm not into drag racing so power isn't everything to me. I could've dropped a B awhile ago but instead i spent money on my suspension and will spend some money on my brakes where I believe is more important than a motor.
