How do you check the ECU for codes on an EXi?

ECU is under the driver seat. just look under there should be a light blinking, means you have a problem. if it doesn't blink that means you are ok.

and to look at the ecu light, get behind the driver seat, lift the small snap thingie on the ecu shroud and if ur car is messed up, it will blink at ya.

Ok I feel really stupid. So I have a code 9 (CYP sensor) with an EFi. Anyone know where it is and how to check it?:banghead:

hmmm..it says it's not valid for tb injection hondas in the faq
does it blink 9 times in a row or it stops for a while then blinks another code?

It gives 9 then pauses and gives another 9. The FAQ says for TBI not multi port so I assume it is still bad. I reset it and still get the 9 blinks. My mileage and power suck so I really think it is something sending the computer into limp mode. I know I am running rich. I looked around today and a new sensor is part of the distributer and Honda want $846. UAP wants $429.:bandit: So I guess it is off to the wreckers for a $65 used distributer.
