Not really any questions... just posting some pics. Pulled a head from the U Pull It and had it hot tanked, pressure tested, and resurfaced.

Anyone spot the problem? :p That's why you don't run 60 miles 3 qts low on oil, and 1/2 the coolant gone :)

Anyway, the new head is an EFI head. I know about the mounting tabs on teh distributor - can I just cut off the extra tab, and use my carb'd distributor? The distributor was gone on this EFI head, or I would have grabbed it :(
Also going to measure and see which is the bigger camshaft - the carb'd one, or the EFI one :D

Actually, I just used the efi cam + carb'd cam bearing/shaft holder :)

just pull the bearing off of your carbed head and use it on the efi head, for the distributor.
