I have an idea that I think might stiffen the rear end of the chassis. Stock, the strut towers in the rear can move in and out, and left and right. I don't know by how much. The strut bars will minimize in and out but the towers can still move left and right in unison. This should eliminate both of these at the same time. It would be made of alumonum angle iron or something. what do you guys think? (excuse the crappy paint picture.)

Yah. But I don't want to go that extreme. I just thought this would be the next step up from just a sway bar. I think it would make the rear a lot stiffer. I am doing this mod reguardless just to try it. I will let you guys know how it turns out.

that will definately work. i'm sure once you've put in such stabilizer components as shown in the 1st pic or on the subaru, you'd definately notice it on the 3gee. even if the suspension parts are almost 20 years old.

i was thinking of building subframe connectors (full frame) to go under my 2g in addition to the strut bars front and back.

Heh, I saw the name of this topic, and this tuner show I had watched on the speed channel instantly popped into my head. In the show they were totally rebuilding a Skyline of some sort and had it down to the frame only, in which they injected expandible foam. I wonder if anyone would go so far as to do that with our cars, there are a few I've noticed that are doing total rebuilds...
