SOCAL Junk Yard Meet pics

Man do we have a shit load of meet! lol well i guess we all like to hang out or something cuz its like very month that we have one. not that im complaining or course! and actually this one was one of the coolest ones. we all spend way more than 3 hours at the junk yard and found some definite goodies!

let me make a list of what we got!

Matt (B16Killa): I dont know if he got anything. but if he did ill sure as hell ask! lol

Gio (gfrg88): Well Gio found a few turbo's! unfortunatly he didnt have the money to purchase it. i think his father is going to go with him on another day and buy it. anyway. pretty soon we're going to have another turbo accord in socal!

Steven (i dont remember his sn at the moment): he got a prelude wheel, healight trim and housing and a the actual bumper not the cover.

Cory (Acid X): well he got what he was looking for an AS Valve

and me? well matt found some DC Headers?!!?! but since he already ordered his pacesetters and gio already has his...well guess who got to keep them??? i got them for only...$60?!?! can you believe it, they were on a prelude with an A series. anyway thanks matt! (dont worry i treated him to lunch and gave him a really good deal on an MSD Blaster II Coil)

it has some problems that need to be fixed, and of course cleaning is giong to be the first then a lil powder coat and it should be back to tip top shape

well actually...the pic of the turbo and head...well thats gio hiding them. lol... he didnt have the money to purchase the turbo...so we helped im stash it so he and his dad could go get it at another time. i think the turbo and head are off a ford probe. of course he doenst want the head just the turbo. i think someone else had taken it off and stashed it...then we found it...and well stashed the sucker in another spot! lol :D:D:D:D:D:D

man this meet you showed reminds me of how i run into other 3gee owners at the recors here in winterpeg.. lol usly wind up sharing tools telling stories lol and telling them about the site... one guy was geting a new rad cause his wife hit a deer and was telling me about his 3 3geez lol and about how one of them got fliped and the scraches on the roof of the car... but the car was otherwise fine he said his wife says the toy truck guy did it to here car... i wonder if he checked out the site or not hmm lol anyhow you guys in socal look like you had loads of fun...

haha yeah i hope that turbo is there when i go back, the car we put it in still had a lot of parts in it so i doubt itll get taken away, but theres a couple of other turbos there so im not all that worried about not finding it :D

damn, looks like y'all found some treasures! i wish i had that luck. the best things i've found was my rear and side body kit for the 3gee and the pair of front prelude seats that i purchased for $25 only. good find on the header. that's just pure luck.

Funnest meet yet! We should go to the to the junkyard every meet j/k, but it was alot of fun.Cory and i went to the junkyard again yesterday and got him a driver's side motor mount that was like new.Even though we went throught like 6 cars to find it.

Unfortunately that driver side mount didnt fix my hard idle problem. Maybe the rear mount is bad... I duno.

We'll figure it out sooner or later we just gotta keep troubleshooting.
I finally got my car to quit hesitating/sputtering by just switching the oxygen sensor plugs.

i go to that one all the time...they're complete assholes sometimes. i had MY honda trunk emblem in my tool bag and they took it from me because they said i had taken it. i was only in the yard for a few minutes. cuz they only had the same cars as the last time i was there. didnt even rumage through anything...just looked around and walked away...

oh well i guess thats what i get for not looking through my bag before i got there :(

oh and steven..there's also the junk yards i go to over here...you know orange county. they're also Pick your Parts (or like gio calls them... "el pulpo!") there's two of them on the same street. one of them is at least 1/2 the size as the one that we went to. the other one is a bit smaller...but thats where i found the sei :D:D:D if you want to go just give me a call. i go almost every other weekend. plus i think im closer than gio. well its a closer drive. it takes me 20 mins to get to your house and it took me an hr and some change to get to gio's (well the junk yard)

ment from the east to west coast, i used to have a 89 black hatch back but then a 8" high curb ment the pinch weld point on the front passenger side , the car was 1/2 was stripped. and i doubt that that car made it all the way there , now when i go home ill have to see where they took it lol
