View Full Version : Another Newbie From the Bay Area/No.Cali (not 56k safe)
Hey Everone I've been checking the forum out since Dec.05 when I got my Accord and I finally took some pictures of my car so I thought I would finally introduce myself.
My name is Roger and I'm from No.Cal My car is a 89 LXI and I bought it for a daily driver to work and back.
I've learned alot from all the post on the forum and I think I will be doing alot of modifications to my ride.
Here's a few pics of the car.

nice car dude...i hope your plans are to make it perform before you make the car shine! the engine looks fucking clean! what did you use??? the only thing that kinda bugs me is the "bra".
what are you first plans so far?
Going to keep the engine pretty much stock except for a rebuild this summer, I got the exhaust done last week had a magnaflow muffler instaled with 2.25 pipe from the cat back.
As far as the engine compartment all it took was a gallon of Super Clean and a pressure washer.
Oh yeah and the bra only because I commute a 100 miles a day and I hate rock chips on the hood

From Vallejo to Union City plus bridge fare,
I wish I had a shorter commute but the company is really good to work for

I picked it up from my friend his inlaw asked him to sell it for him,
from what he tells me I'm the second owner

Hey, is that Magnaflow cat-back piping or custom? I'm in the market for a new exhaust and was not aware that Magnaflow made cat-back piping for our cars, just mufflers. Thanks.

Had the work done here in Vallejo the name of the shop is Lipseys
charged me $240.00 they do good work, as for the HP there is a
difference (at least to me there is), take off and acceleration feel
better and my car is automatic so Im happy with it..

i was looking at the Magnaflow website and they have alot of mufflers witch one did you pick?...im just asking beacuse there is a muffler shop down my street but he wants to charge me 120 for pipe from the CAT and 120 for the muffler(some no name crap) so 240 but if i can get a muffler cheap(Magnaflow like on ebay) i can just bring it in and he will do it all for 120.
