View Full Version : Where's the coolant sensor for the gauge?

Carb'd A20A1 here... where's the coolant sensor? :rocket:

The temp sensor is on the bottom / rear / distributor side of the intake manifold.
It has one wire to it. It uses a bullet style connector to connect to the end of the sensor, in much the same way a spark plug wire pops on the end of a spark plug.

It's very small in diameter, about the size of a dime.

If you convert to weber and bypass coolant to the intake manifold you can convert to an EFI (A20A3) or (BT) Thermostat housing and put the coolant temp sensor in there. (T1)

I honestly forget. I'll have to go thru my wires but a lot of them have been replaced since the copper was corroded.

LOL, n/m found the problem... there are 2 bullet connectors back there... ;) Had the wrong one hooked up! I'm liking this little weber so far!!

Nice... what color wire runs to it?
If anyone in the future wants to know. It is a yellow wire with green line on it.
