that was probably build by honda or commissioned by honda for thier own use, being that the accord has always been the flagship sedan for them. chances are that there's a 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th gen limo around somewhere. we know of 2 3rd gen limos.

HondaBoy
02-23-2006, 05:37 PM
on that 1st gen one if i remember correctly they did use the 1.8 CVCC engine and stock tranny. that's been around for a very long time, even before i saw 3geez.

i was thinking the same, and i also thought if the car was RWD the drive shaft must be a bit weak if it was as long as the green limo

but damn who woulda thought 2 do something like that 2 a 3gee? and i remember seeing a monster 3gee around somewhere, i once spent 2 hours looking for that pic lol. and i wanna see that 3gee ute again. wow all the things u could do if u were rich.

3gee ute
3gee monster
3gee limo
3gee S/W
3gee boat
jet engine 3gee (like the monster garage celica)
3gee tow truck
3gee snow mobil
3gee plane?

well i guess im overreacting on that one. but oh well

we have a commadore 64 lol, i remember going 2 a school and saying "yeah we go a 64 commodore" and ppl were like "wow cool, yous must b rich or sumtin" haha

Wasn't that up on ebay a while back? A one off custom built by honda for an executive or something like that. I forget its been a while. It was being sold by a collector and had a rather hefty price. IIRC it was using the stock accord drive train. The 1.8 should have been plenty, the 1g accord is a small car, and thats not a huge limo. Its no cadilac, and is probably still shorter then the average unstreched caddy of that era by several feet.

My thoughts would be that they dropped in a larger engine, and made it RWD to get the tranny and drivetrain out of the engine bay to make room for the larger engine. As far as memory serves me, that vehicle only had like 60hp, so the engine upgrade would be nessesary to move it out of the parking space. Just a side note, it looks fairly worn, so my guess would be these are recent-ish photos, but the odo seems to have 36k. If anyone has photo enhancing software to find out, that would be interesting to know. Another side note, this looks USDM, left-hand drive, correct bolt placement for US style lisence plate, lights seem A-spec...

Hi
This car was on US Ebay in May 2004, I stored some pics, (this is why I know the date) but unfortunately not the text.
But I'm pretty sure, it got the original drive train with 1,8 EK engine.

Now that car looks like a party on wheels! I would have that car just to haul all my friends around in. But clear liquids only! So only gin, real rum, and vodka, and no fruity flavored shit in the back! ;)

the silver one looks prettier compared to the white one. but why the red interior? thats so 70s, and velour? why not just leather, in fact grey or black leather? anyway its cool too see limo 1g s around. its certainly a 1st for me.

It was a first for many of us. How pimp and executive would you feel owning that car? I will have one in my stable one day. Oh yes I will. :flash:

i dont know if you realised but the white and the silver accords are of different years. notice the honda badges on the trunks. it indicates a 79' for the white. and the silver doesnt have the thick chrome trim beside the rear quater glass. this indicates they might have been made at different periods.

Yeah you're right about that. I wonder if one of them might not even be a Honda-built limo. I'm sure there was someone crazy enough out there to build one...
