hey. Is it true what ive heard that you can retard or advance the intake or exhaust cam pulleys on the cambelt to increase power.
a mates car has had this done, we dont know how, but its got normal power till about 5000rpm and then it rockets till about 7000rpm when it goes out of its powerband
thats the kind of power on want as my engine doesnt seem to have much balls after 5500rpm when it should have 160HP at 6500 (being JDM b20a)
how to do this would be greatly appriciated :)

all you have to do is to advance it by one tooth, but you won't be sure how much power you will gain. you should do that on dyno meter and instead of skipping teeth on the gears, you should get yourself adjustible cam gears. They will allow smoother and smaller adjustments.
