I think that car has better paint than my third gen! Must be that leaded paint. I was surprised to see that the red line starts all the way at 6000! Do you ever take it that high?

Hey any pics on how you installed the head unit? Mine is sticking out a bit, looking for an idea on how to mount it flush with the dash.

Wow, an overwhelming response!
The accord was bought new by my dad in 1980. Low mileage, "regular" maintance, which means the oil change intervals grew after 10 years ownership. It became my first ride in 1997 after fixing some holes in the body and replacing a headgasket. It had a hole (!) between n0 3 and 4 cylinder. No speedmonster but enough grunt to take part in everyday traffic. A bit noisy on the highway though, if i remember correctly 3500 rpm at 100km/h (my saab does 2500 rpm at 100 km/h). 4500 rpm must be the highest it has ever been, them my ears overloaded ...
Hazwan, I made a piece of wood to fill the gap as the radio is quite deep. About 2 cm's thick with a bit of veneer on top.
Grtz,
Guido

Wow, that's a really nice car. Hehe, I like the blinker switch...looks crazy with that big headlight switch on the end of it. Very nice car, KUDOS.

Looks awesome! Got any more pics of that radio setup with the wood behind it? Actually looks pretty nice sitting there, like the old 1G Civic dashes with the wood trim.

I also remember the radio being in a different place on my 1G but now that I think about it, I can't even remember what year that car was either....so it makes sense.
