Replaced rims and tires...

Went from the stock 14" rim and stock tire size to 205/65/15's. I like the look and feel, but how much is my speedo off now?

What if I went to a 50 or 40 series tire, would that make a difference for lost power? what are some pros and cons going to a smaller series? besides cost lol

you know what, as soon as I posted this I found the calculator I was looking for... so I know how much the speedo is off, what about pro and cons?

thats going to be a really really tall tire, i'd be surprised it you didnt rub over big bumps.

? hows that? I got a tall tire NOW with 65's and im going to a 50. which is (According to the fancy lil calculator) the same size as stock 14" tires

65 series is a very very tall tire. You should be fine with 50 series. Speedo will be correct.

65 series maybe pushing it a little in the looks dept. but if your speedo is still alright then it should be fine. i think that 50 series and below will mess up yer speedo a little though..195/55r-15 would be the perfect size for performance rims or oem 15" honda/acura

IMO using 205 50 15 is the best tire you could use on 15" rims on our cars. They are almost identical in roll diameter to stock tires and the 205 width will give you noticable traction improvement. 50 profile is a good compromise between stock and super lo pro tires.
