Diamond and ARP have their own sites... as for eagle

--- ARP (http://www.arp-bolts.com/)
--- DIAMOND (http://diamondpistons.com/)

Here is what I collected for the Turbo FAQ that no one reads.

- RODS
--- EAGLE @ IMPORTPARTS.COM (http://www.importparts.com/)
* According to eagle the lowest priced place to get them is importparts.com
* This eagle Rod is a direct fit into the A20A engine. the only change required is to enlarge to a 21mm wrist pin from a 19mm wrist pin. Diamond pistons will accommodate this change here's the eagle part number
* Part Number - CRS5394a3d - Eagle rods

This is old info though, so any new updates in recent years, let me know so I can change the link and info.

I thought you got that stuff all thur Shawn last year? or is this a differant project.

Maybe you could get the pistons with a 19mm pin size so you dont have to resize the rods. Save some weight on the heavy end as well and maybe the cost would equal out.

out of curiosity, are the pistons custom made, and if so, how much did it set you back?

btw its www.diamondracing.net thats where he ordered the pistsons. :)

they are custom forged pistons setup with a 21mm wrist pin to fit with the LS rods. also they can be made with any CR that you want, so if you are building NA they can make them high CR, or u can go 8.46:1 like i did for a forced induction project. :) also diamond can hook it up with some BADASS 'power adder safe' rings. :)

LOL Thanks Chris I used the same pistons as Chris I think we will both have some big power cars when done.

wait until i get a chance to turbo my car. i wont even bother with custom stuff. just the basic stuff, and OBD1 for tuning:)

hey elijah, out of curiosity, do you have a spare head i can trial/test fit my D series distributor on? id use my own car for it, but summers coming soon and i cant afford to have much downtime on it

um, if you're going to go turbo, there isnt much that ISNT going to be custom . . . just FYI

i meant the internals like the pistons and rods and such. i might consider a cam regrind when i go back home cause Colts just a 20 min or so drive away. asides from cam, theres not much i plan to do with the internals.

im debating wether i wanna just yank my head and oil pan in the turboaccord, deglaze and pop in new standard size forgings without going overbore. The engine runs great right now and i think the cylinders are pretty fresh... Weve done it before with good results but what do you guys think? My only fear is that they will get scuffed.
