This time would be close to 6 sec through your 2nd gear is too long, maybe because of LS tranny.....so next mod will be a jdm Y1 tranny...
Your car must be very powerfull, maybe 180whp-200 flywheel hp if you havent got any more P/S and A/C and you make max power at about 7000rpm-7500rpm???.....really nice set up and STR cam gears are the best out there, the most precise and lightweight.

WOW man...you make me mad...because i just swaped my engine and trans but i still used stock when i could of paid like an extra 700 bucks to get the best... my car takes like 11 secs 0-60 on a auto trans...nice video whats your top out speed?

Now that the car is broken in and I got the tranny working right I am really starting to enjoy it. Once I get some good tire (you can hear the traction issues) and get the car tuned I will hit you guys up with soem better movies.

I was wondering if anybody would catch that, but the lever for the windshield wipers was broken when I got the car and I havent fixed it yet. So the lever came back real quick on the shift :crying: .

Thats a bitch, cuz you have to replace the whole combo switch, didn't take long, but getting the steering wheel straight is a pain in the ass.

Nice vids though, 8k is awesome... car seems pretty quick.. any plans to take it to the track?

Thanks dude, it was a little akward reving to 7 the first time. That I went to 8 and that blew my mind. I was used to it in my teg, but in this car people look at me in aw when I race them. I still get a little tripped out when I drive it hard though.

WOW I haven't been on 3geez for awhile ever since I sold my crapalier and got a 93 civic dx. I'm also still in the process of making those lip kits i mentioned awhile back.

But anyways, looks like your swap went pretty well. Tell me, what parts did you collect to get it all to work again? I take it you solved the axle dilemma. Get some lightweight axles, GSR or Type R tranny (with a Hasport hydro-cable conversion lever), aluminum flywheel...the list goes on. That car can go much faster. Feels good to have a drivetrain with endless possibilities huh?

I'm in the process of doing a mini-me swap on my dx civic. Not with old parts, but everything new. I've been busy with eBay alot :lol: I plan to keep this setup a long time till I can afford a K-series swap in the future.

As for the 3gee, I'm also slowly completing the bodywork on it little by little and I plan to do a 5 spd. swap on it also after I complete the mini-me swap on the civic. I was also comtemplating a B or H series swap on the 3gee, till that is, I got the civic. Time will tell what my plans are for these cars. The 3gee definitely feels a whole lot different than the civic, part of it cus I've had it a long time and have done alot of upgrades till the auto trans gave out on me. I plan to keep the civic clean and more performance oriented and the 3gee more for cruise and show with power to boot. :rockon:
